Paul Henry Barnes, age 90, of Heathsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017. He was the widower of Alice Stonik Barnes and the son of Paul J. and Carolyn Lovell.

Paul is survived by a son, Paul H. Barnes, Jr. (Dixie) of Stephensonville, Virginia; a daughter, Susan B. Kosinski (Brian) of Heathsville, Virginia; and three grandchildren, Austin, Alex, and Ashleigh.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Margarethe Grabner Barnes and step-daughter, Margarethe Susan “Sue” Grabner. Paul is survived by his step-children, David, Scott, and John Grabner.

A private graveside service will be held at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
