Obituary for Raymond Stanley Brann Jr.

Raymond Stanley Brann, Jr., 60, of Warsaw left his Earthly life on December 8, 2017. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, a retired correctional officer from Haynesville Correctional Center with 20 years of service, and was the widower of Joyce Lynn Queen Brann. Raymond is survived by his loving children: sons Raymond Stanley Brann, III of Dinwiddie; Matthew Lee Brann of Farnham; Christopher Todd Brann of Farnham; and daughter Jessica Salley of Mechanicsville, ,Also surviving, his father, Raymond Stanley Brann, Sr, his sister Bonnie Brann Yerabek of Smithfield and two grandchildren. Raymond is predeceased by his mother, Mary Madeline Barrack Brann and a brother Daniel Everett Brann.
Memorial services will be held 2:00pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Farnham. His family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Welch Funeral Home in Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Raymond’s name to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
