Dolores Jane Magnuson, age 86, was called home by her Lord on December 3, 2017. Dolores was born to the late James F. and Esther M. Lindsay and preceded in death by her devoted husband Nathan Iver Magnuson. We know she is joyful in rejoining them in heaven. Dolores is survived by her 4 sons David Allan Magnuson, Scott Eric Magnuson, Kristian Andrew Magnuson and Kenneth Mitchell Magnuson; daughter-in-law Dawn Magnuson; grandsons Nathan Magnuson and Brent Magnuson; granddaughters Ashlea Dotson and Meredith Partin, many great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
Dolores was best known as a faithful Christian servant who enjoyed reading scripture, studying Christianity and related topics, and developing a deep personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. She was often quick with a sincere smile, a hearty laugh, or to share a personal conviction. She also had a selfless love in caring for her family. And, she was the sweetest woman you will ever meet.
A family viewing at Welch Funeral Home, Warsaw VA and a gravesite service at Fairfields Baptist Church, Burgess, VA will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 2 pm.
