Fuller H. Packett, Jr., 76, of Warsaw, Virginia, passed away on November 9, 2017 at the Commonwealth Senior Living at Farnham (surrounded by his caregiver and nephew Robert C. Jett).
Mr. Packett was born at Neenah, VA on April 28, 1941 to Helen Self and Fuller H. Packett. He was a graduate of Warsaw High School and retired from the Naval Base at Dahlgren, VA on October 3, 1997. He was an avid hunter and an active member of the Menokin Hunt Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fuller H. Packett, mother, Helen P. Brown, step-father, Jack H. Brown, sister, Delores Ann Packett and brother George Andrew Packett. He is survived by two sisters, Mary K Jett and Nancy D. Embrey of Stafford, VA; four nephews, four nieces, and numerous great nephews and nieces.
The family would like to invite friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at Welch’s Funeral Home in Montross, VA for a Celebration of Life.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Montross Chapel, with the Rev. Jason Patrick officiating. Scattering of his ashes will take place at a later date with the immediate family.
