Edward Headley, age 85, of Farnham, VA passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017. He was a retiree of the Virginia Department of Corrections and a US Navy veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Waters (Robert) of Richmond and Hague, VA; grandsons, Chris Smith of Asheville, NC; Todd Waters (Gina) of Claymont, DE; Logan Waters (Caryn) of Richmond, VA; great grandchildren, Harrison and Elizabeth Faye; a granddaughter, Wesley Waters of Asheville, NC; and a sister, Mary Williams of Callao, VA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Headley; and a daughter, Patricia Ann Headley.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel with Pastor Richard Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
