Barbara (Bobbie) Lee Clarke Childs, 74, of King George, Virginia passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a retired office manager for Al’s Body Shop.
She is survived her husband of 56 years, Albert R. Childs, Sr.; a daughter, Karen C. Hinson and her husband Jerry of Warsaw, Virginia; a son Albert R. Childs, Jr. of Arlington, Virginia; one granddaughter, Ashley H. Plushko and husband Victor and two great-grandsons, Victor A. Plushko and Braden C. Plushko, all of Farnham, Virginia; her siblings: Austin Clarke; Mary Jean Clarke Wilmore; Leona Clarke Medlin and husband Lloyd; R.D. Clarke and wife Patsy all of Lancaster County Virginia; Llewelyn Clarke and wife Ritsy of Warsaw, Virginia; Audrey Clarke Thomas and husband Kermit of Port Royal, Virginia as well an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Bethany Baptist Church, Callao,VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.
