He saved my life

When we were children I was spending a week with my Aunt Alice, Bunky, Diane and Scott. All of us kids got into Uncle Dwight's wood pile and took the wood down to the muddy creek next to the house to use as steps to cross the creek. I went last and after so many kids had stepped on the wood it had sunk so I picked up the wood to move it and there was what I thought was a worm on the piece of wood. I was getting ready to pick it up when Bunky yelled "don't touch that, it's a snake". Needless to say I screamed and ran like the city girl I was. If I had of picked it up it surely would have bitten me and everyone knows baby snakes are more venomous than adult snakes! That story has always stuck with me. I recently asked Bunky if he remembered that and he didn't. So thank you Bunky for saving my life! Rest in Pease my sweet cousin
