Obituary for Norman Ross Cox

Norman R. Cox, Sr. passed away on August 24th in Heathsville, VA.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Virginia Rock Cox and survived by four sons: Norman, Jr., Linwood, Marvin and Jeffrey, their wives, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Norman graduated from John Marshall High School and served in the Navy during World War II. Norman and Virginia were faithful members of Berryman United Methodist Church in Richmond and later at Fairfields Baptist Church in Burgess. He retired from Baxter Healthcare Corporation after over 40 years of service in the laboratory supply industry. Norman was a Master Mason with the Richmond Randolph Lodge 19 and was an avid babershop singer with The Virginians Chorus and later with The Northern Neck Bay Tones where he served two years as Music Director.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in honor of Norman be made to Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
