Retired Lieutenant Colonel and Vietnam Veteran John Clark Golden III, age 77, Hague, Virginia, passed away on July 24, 2017. LTC Golden was the widower of Winifred Ann Golden. Retired from the United States Army, LTC. Golden was an attorney for the Central Intelligence Agency..
He was a member of the Military Officers Association of America, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his children, Lieutenant Colonel John C. Golden IV (Deborah) of Cape Carteret, North Carolina; Eileen Keener (Kevin) of Stafford, Virginia; Mary Hastings (Retired Staff Sergeant Ryan) of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is survived by his brother Robert S. Golden II (Lynne) of Avon, Connecticut and sister Mary Alice Jentzen (Louis) of Cheshire, Connecticut. Lt. Golden is also survived by his grandchildren Meagan, Delaney, Jake, Eric, Brenna, Ronan, Emily, Ryan, Allyson and Sydney.

Services will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Hague, Virginia. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
