Bill was a talented entertainer and band leader with an encyclopedic knowledge of music and musicians. We will miss his warm baritone voice and good-natured sense of humor. We will cherish and take comfort from the memories of the times we spent together, the songs we played and the friendships Bill made.

Condolence: Gloria and I were so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He and Connie shared our antique car hobby with gusto and as others have said, Bill always had a snappy comeback. We all had fun together, and I especially enjoyed his music and singing. Prayers for Connie and the family.

Condolence: Doug and I are so sorry to hear about Bill. Doug and many musicians in the Northern Neck thought the world of Bill. I remember Doug and Bill joking, and the sound of their laughter. Doug told me he was sorry he did not get to tell Bill his latest drummer jokes. He said Bill would have loved them. Bill will be deeply missed by many people whose life he touched.
