Theresa Jane Morse DuVal, 64, of Tappahannock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 13, 2017 following a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Mozingo, step father Charles Mozingo, her father Robert Lee “Jack” Morse and her brother Robert Lee Moss, Jr. She was the widow of John DuVal.
She is survived by her son, Robert Franklin “Frankie” Thompson (Barbara); two granddaughters, Brittany Marie and Rebecca Nicole Thompson; a brother David Morse (Robin); one grandson Christopher, all of Warsaw; a sister, Sandra (Billy) Brooks of Laneview; brother-in-law William DuVal, Jr. of Vienna, VA and nephews Brandon DuVal and Sean DuVal.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Rappahannock Baptist Church, Newland VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
