Mary Frances Conley Hinson, age 93, of Kilmarnock and formerly of Farnham, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. She was the daughter of Clifford and Ruth Conley. Frances was a fantastic cook, and avid crocheter who adored her grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wellford Hinson, and a granddaughter, Misty Lynn Fridenstine.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou Tomas (Joe) of Stratford, Connecticut and Dorothy Dean Fridenstine (Mark) of Heathsville; a sister, Learline Chatham of Montross; four grandchildren, Robert Tomas (Linda), Tracey Kosa (Tom), Kelly Winstead (Ernie), and Adrian Fridenstine; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Michelle Kosa, and Madelynn Grace Winstead; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held On Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel with Pastor Kori Kiss officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakland United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
