Ruby Chatham Clark, 95, of Montross departed her earthly life on Thursday, July 6, 2017. She was a retired seamstress, a member of Edgewater United Methodist Church, and the widow of Charlie A. Clark.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Donald Griffith Clark (companion Bonnie) of Haynesville; Charles Douglas Clark (Catherine) of Montross; and daughter Mrs. Cecile Clark Thrift of Haynesville and a sister, Dorothy Zeller of Farnham. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Douglas D. Chatham and Clara Viola Davis Chatham, daughter Leona Headley, her brothers Stanley, Alfred, Sam, and Glen Chatham; and sisters Bernice Conley and Nettie Herbert. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Welch Funeral Home – Montross with interment in the Yeocomico Episcopal Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Welch Funeral Home – Montross.
