Gloria Ann Jones, 55, of Montross, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 23, 2017. She was a member of Popes Creek Baptist Church and a retired book keeper for Jones Farm.
She was preceded in death by her father Clifton Merle “Jap” Jones, Sr.
She is survived by her husband George David “Big D” Jones, one son George David “Little D” Jones and his wife Alex, her mother, Margaret Sanford “Mammie” Jones, two grandchildren, George David Jones, III and Jeffery Flynn Jones all of Montross. She is also survived by three brothers, Clifton Merle Jones, Jr. and wife Valerie, Donald Ray Jones and wife Darlene all of Warsaw and William Jeffrey Jones and wife Gayle of Montross.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Popes Creek Baptist Church, Baynesville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June, 26, 2017 at the Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel.
