Alice Forrester Sanford, 84, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2017.
She was a retired self employed home nurse, and a member of Rappahannock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Sanford, Sr. and a son Randy Allen Sanford.
She is survived by a son, James E. Sanford, Jr., Warsaw, VA, two daughters Ivy Lee Balderson, Warsaw, VA, and Cathy S. Hartwell, Pawley’s Island, SC; two brothers, Chester Bryant, Warsaw, VA, Lunsford Bryant, Tappahannock, VA; two sisters, Linda Sanders, Warsaw, VA and Bertha Rose, Haynesville, VA. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Welch Funeral - Marks Chapel, Warsaw, with interment in Rappahannock Baptist Church Cemetery, Newland, VA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
