Aubrey Wilson Stone, 82, of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was a US Navy Korean War veteran and a retired Guidance Counselor of Hanover County Schools.

Aubrey is survived by his son, Wes Stone (Karen) of Fredericksburg; daughter, Susan Stone of Warsaw; and grandchildren, John-Aubrey Stone, Drew Campbell and Sarah Ann Campbell.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Harris Stone and his parents, William Aubrey and Minnie Patterson Stone.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Warsaw United Methodist Church. Interment will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Signal Hill Memorial Park at 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road Hanover, VA 23069. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel.
