Lillian Eldora (Saunders) Hall of Tappahannock, VA passed from this world into the next with the love and support of her family on Sunday evening, October 23rd, 2016 at the age of 94.
Eldora was married to the late James Lyell Hall for 56 years. Both were originally from Newland, VA and were members of Welcome Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons; Danny of Palm Coast, FL and Rick of Upper Marlboro, MD.
“Mema” had four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and “Aunt Dobe” had some very special nieces, many caring nephews and countless good friends from the Red Hat and the XYZ clubs of the Warsaw/Tappahannock area. She was a pioneer of the C&P telephone Co and retired after 38 years of service working in the DC and Maryland metro areas. She was the 7th of 9 children and is survived by 2 younger sisters, Erma Reamy of Daytona Beach FL and Blanche Strauch of Warner Robbins, GA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Welcome Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Willard Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October, 27, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel in Warsaw.
