Obituary for Edward Leroy Kimble

Edward L. Kimble, 75, of Montross, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016. He was a self-employed contractor.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Violet M. Kimble, sons; James Kimble, Montross, Phillip Kimble and his wife Tracey of Stafford, VA, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Glenn Kimble, Spotsylvania and Howard Kimble of North Carolina.
Mr. Kimble was preceded in death by his daughter Janet Balderson and a brother Jack Kimble.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, July 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Vol. Fire Department, P.O. Box 222, Montross, VA 22520 or the Montross Vol. Rescue Squad P.O. Box 1174, Montross, VA 22520.
