Lucille Croxton Thomas, age 89, of Warsaw, Virginia, passed away on May 28, 2016.
She is survived by her husband, Bishop John A. Thomas; two sons, Robert Marvin Thomas (Sandra) of Gilbert, Arizona and James Alan Thomas of King George; a daughter, Virginia Thomas Hinson (Tom) of Warsaw; two brothers, William Emery Croxton and Linwood Croxton; two sisters, Thelma Croxton Kelly, and Dorothy Croxton Frizzelle; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, James Marvin Croxton and Elsie Virginia Balderson Croxton; a son, John Wesley Thomas; two brothers, Mitchell Croxton, and James Croxton; and two sisters, Margaret Croxton Mutispaw and Rachel Croxton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Warsaw Church of God with the Rev. Robert Hinson and the Rev. Dave Metz officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Warsaw Church of God.
