Garnett Willie Wilson, 83 and Mabel Ashton Wilson, 80, of Lottsburg, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016.

Mabel was a member of Melrose United Methodist Church while Willie was a member of Coan Baptist Church. They both worked together as Watermen.

Willie and Mabel are survived by her sister, Ella Smith; nephew, Steve Ashton; niece, LuAnn Smith; great-nephew, Michael Bryant (Sheri), great great-nephews, Kendrick, Shane, and Carter Bryant along with numerous nieces and nephews.

They are preceded in death by their parents, Bob and Helen Wilson, and Revell and Marie Ashton; Willie’s sisters, Alma and Bernice and Mabel’s twin brother, Louis Ashton.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will be private. Family will receive friends from 6 pm- 8 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel.
