Obituary for Barbara Amon (Pierce)

Barbara Pierce Amon, 80, of Warsaw, went home to be with Our Lord on Thursday, October 29, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church and the daughter of, Thomas and Virginia Pierce.

She is survived by her husband, Reverend William “Bill” E. Amon; three daughters, Ginger Goodman, Terry Hutnyan (Paul) and Millie Heath (Chris); 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and 15 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel with interment following at Warsaw United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday October 30, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home- Marks Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Food Pantry at Warsaw United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 291, Warsaw, VA 22572.
