Granville Booth Edwards, Jr., 87, of Edwardsville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015.
He is survived by his sons, John Edwards (Cindy) of Edwardsville, VA and Tony Edwards (Charmaine) of Damascus, MD; daughters, Helen Ray (Michael) of Rockville, MD, Vickie Galloway (Bob) of Damascus, MD, and Karen Zoller (Joe) of Germantown, MD; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Granville was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Ross Edwards.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday July 6, 2015 at Smithland Baptist Church, 1047 Walnut Point Road Heathsville, VA 22473, with interment following in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel and one hour prior to services on Monday.
