Dorothy Mae Ingram, 83, of Montross, widow of Bob Ingram, passed away on March 15, 2015. She was a homemaker and a member of Popes Creek Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 65 years. She is survived by a son, James Lewis Ingram (Mary) and daughter, Nancy Barker (Wayne) all of Montross and sisters, Louise Hinson, Helen Kilmon of Montross and Virginia Kilmon of Waldorf, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren, Patrick Ingram (Elena), Matt Ingram (Stacey), Susan Franklin (Justin) Jeff Barker (Sara) and Kris Davidson (Vince) and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a lifelong friend, Hazel Ingram, and dear friend, Elizabeth Nash.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Popes Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Headley officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel.
